On February 8, 2018 the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) published a clinical trial on ivermectin treatment for river blindness. The trial found that treating 500 individuals over 12 weeks with ivermectin had no significant effect on reducing the risk of developing severe disease compared to standard of care alone.
Not only was it not protective against serious disease, 4% more people in the Ivermectin arm required oxygen assistance to keep their sats up than in the standard treatment arm.
That’s what the study looked at: giving Ivermectin on a randomized basis to people with diagnosed COVID at the early, mild stage.
I’m not a fan of mandating them into everyone. We know covid isn’t bad for the vast majority of people and we know who the ones at risk are. This pandemic isn’t nearly as bad as the media portrays.
If you have a heart worm positive dog, they cannot take this. Ivermectin is the same thing as Stromectol – a treatment for vermicular/nematodic infestations in humans and other mammals.

On a positive note, none of the trial participants developed heart worms.

Ivermectin is also used in humans to treat worm infestations (and other things).

We got what we wanted. No more league streams. I'm completely ok with this.
